I'm Laura Bumbala.
Designer, Mom, Fitness Lover, Reality TV Junkie, & Wine Enthusiast.
…that's the classy way to put it, right?
I received my BFA in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
While at FIT I was given the opportunity to traipse around the streets of Florence, Italy.
Getting my heels stuck in cobblestones and study at the Polimoda Institute of Int’l Fashion Design and Marketing.
My passion for design started at a young age.
Well let's be honest, I really wanted to be a ventriloquist. Really glad I went in a different direction.
When I was about 8 years old, I cut off all of my Barbie's hair so I could turn her into Sinead O’Connor.
"Nothing Compares to you" was really hot at that time. My mother then knew I would never become a doctor.
I was always doodling and drawing fairies with large cozy boots.
I’m pretty sure I invented UGGs in 1994.
My doodling eventually turned into me designing some of my own dance competition costumes to then prom dresses.
I even took sewing classes at “Sewing with Rhonda". I was legit.
From my humble beginnings in Connecticut to now designing for Target and living in Minneapolis with my 3 boys.
Husband, Son, and Chihuahua. I'm definitely outnumbered.
This blog is my effort to give you, or anyone who will listen, a smattering of my daily life, musings, and designs.
I'm on a mission to bring you inspiring posts on Fashion, Fitness, Food, and Mom Stuff.
Oh and just to get straight legal on you:
